Master Studies

My master study is not a direct replica. Instead of copying a masterpiece detail by detail, I approach it from a different perspective—observing and analyzing the techniques that bring it to life. My focus is on understanding how something is achieved rather than simply reproducing it. In the process, I refine my own skills and techniques.

Because these studies are explorations rather than exact copies, I paint on whatever canvas or board is available in my studio, meaning the size does not always match the original work.

Each of these master studies is both an experiment and a learning exercise, with the painting itself as the final result.
